Vintage 1932 Collector's Card of Manfred von Brauchitsch (1905 - 2003), winning the 1932 Avus Rennen.
On May 22, 1932 von Brauchitsch won in the privately entered Mercedes Benz SSKL Streamliner, setting a world speed record for the class with over 200 KM/H.
This pre-war card is in mint condition and measures 2.75 x 4 inches. It was issued by German margarine manufacturer "Sanella" and was intended for their "Handbuch des Sports" or "Handbook of Sports".
A nice touch is that the back of the card promises that, starting February 1933, they will open up a swap center so that you could complete your collection!

This is a modern repro of a great aerial shot of de W154 Mercedes of von Brauchitsch and Hermann Lang coming out of the Thillois hairpin at the French Grand Prix of 1939, held at Reims circuit.
The repro was consequently signed by von Brauchitsch.
So to recap: Repro photo with original signature.
Von Brauchitsch didn't finish the race as he blew a piston on lap 17.
Lang faced the same fate in lap 36 handing the victory to Hermann Paul Müller in the Auto Union.
Mint condition.
